It's not a mistake, people would buy multipacks to get the exclusive car, re-package it with a replacement and return to the store since the average Target employee would be none the wiser.

Do you all need to act like children? I have not followed Cars merchandise in years. Please explain what the problem is if you expect me to act on it. Or, you know, discuss it with each other in a civilized manner first, before jumping to immature taunts or posting petty hit pieces in the public forums.

I apologize for the fact that ABG and I are not active enough to manage the site effectively. We are both adults in college, and simply have other matters to balance. It's not ideal but we don't really have a choice. Frankly, we would happily up the staff if we could. The problem is that even some of our most regular users lack anything resembling an ability to competently lead.

If you cannot resolve this between yourselves, I am happy to step in, but in the meantime, please at least try to hear each other out. The constant bickering and rude remarks (including, disappointingly, from a staff member) is exhausting to deal with.

To everyone here: This policy is no longer in effect. I recently learned that you can protect article names that don't yet exist, effectively preventing articles from be created under a specific title. If someone creates a fan-made character page, I can just delete it and block the page from being re-created.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, and for those who didn't like the policy, it's no longer active. With that being said, please continue to properly source your information.

He's downloadable content in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. You have to purchase him from the Xbox or PS stores.

Honestly, I've been considering English fluency as the most important trait. Unfortunately, there are very few users here who use correct English grammar and spelling consistently. I appreciate everyone's eagerness but we choose our admins very carefully.

I agree that two weeks is a bit much, so I'll lower it to one week. To answer a few replies:

I agree, but the problem is that there are no good candidates to pick. While I do have two users in mind, neither of them edit very frequently, and they both seem to be very involved with other wikis, and may not have time.

Depends on what it is. If it's in a book or something that many users might not be aware of, then yes, sourcing is required. However, you no longer need to source information directly from Cars 3, as most of us have seen it and can easily know whether or not something is true.

Thing is, that's not making anything better. That's directly getting in the way of the wiki's goal to provide accurate and authentic information. The reason I instated this in the first place is because so many people have been doing this. I'm sick of leaving a thousand reminders that will just get ignored because people trust some kid on Wikipedia over those of us who base our information off official material.

If you're wondering where I was these past few days, I didn't have time to edit because of the holidays. I apologize for inactivity.

New Block Policy

Recently, I have been having a lot of trouble keeping up with edits around here. People are continually adding information without properly sourcing it, and because of that, a lot of false information has been being added. To fix this, I have instated a new automatic block policy for anyone who fails to provide a source for information.

Failure to provide a source alongside new information will result in an immediate two-week ban. Reminders and warnings will not be sent prior.

This probably sounds really harsh (and maybe it is), but it's honestly the best solution I can come up with to deal with this problem. As the only active administrator right now, it's next to impossible for me to keep up with everything otherwise.

This new policy will be in effect until August 16, 2017. However, if anyone has a better idea to deal with this issue, please don't hesitate to share it here.

Wow, I've never met anyone who cares this much about these games. They really are pieces of work, as the charm this game has can not be found in third-party video games very often. (E.T., I'm looking at you)

But yes, thanks for the edits about Cars the Video Game, it's really helped us expand our information!

Chick comes in the top five in all versions of the game. For some reason, the game chooses four other cars to do extremely well, while the others get lapped over and over again.

I personally think the order that the cars place varies per system. For example, they are programmed differently, as proven with the different files types. I've played both the Xbox 360 and Wii versions (as well as a tiny bit of the PC version) and they seem to be a little different. For example, for the X360, at the LA Speedway, Chick Hicks is always the one come in fifth, but in the Wii version, I think he would always come in second (if you win).

As for the Delinquent Road Hazards race, the order I get is player, Boost, Wingo, DJ and Snot Rod. I sold the Wii version so I can't check and see what the order is there.

Anyway, my point is that I'm pretty sure it varies on each system. Either way, it's not really something to study and memorize.
