Oh. That is just another bit of vandalism by Awesome Dawson Films!. Don't worry. I will fix that.
No, the wiki meant that there is no announcement of the release date while it is 2018 now.

I am not sure if "bechtern" would work either. When I went to Google Translate to find out what it meant, it translated to "bechtern". I even used this to convert it to Cyrillic text, but it still translated to "bechtern". I thought maybe bechtern was also an English term, but when I Google searched it, most of the results either led towards the Bechtern Wiki or people with "Bechtern" in their names.
Okay. Well, I think that since the link to that wiki has already been moved to the other one, maybe the URL can be renamed so that it doesn't mention Pixar when it may have pages on elements from Planes, although it'll be a bit tough with the fact that there could be a wiki that is about real cars, and the choices between the English and Russian titles for the URL.
I agree with merging those wikis, but keep the URL for "bechtern", because that one you just found has the URL saying "pixarcars" and it wouldn't make sense to include Pixar's name in the URL and put in information about Planes when Planes was not made by Pixar. And that's also why I think the wordmark on the Dutch Wiki needs to be updated so that it could like, perhaps, not have the Disney and Pixar logos because it is showing Pixar's logo and has pages about Planes. But I do agree on having an interlanguage link with it and the Brazilian Portuguese wiki.
Sorry that this answer was late, but I guess that since there's been no more news of the short, and I don't think they've even included it on the Cars 3 home video, I'm not sure that it will ever get released.
