- A car-ified version of James Bond appeared in the unproduced Cars Toons short film, Backwards to the Forwards. The car was based on the 1963 Aston Martin DB5, known as the most iconic car in the James Bond franchise.
- The 1958 Peerless GT is the prototype of the 1965 Faultless GT, Finn McMissile's car model, although he also has heavy influence from the Aston Martin DB5.
