Trivia[]
- Brakelight Pictures is a parody of Searchlight Pictures (originally Fox Searchlight Pictures, which Disney acquired through their 2019 purchase of 21st Century Fox).
- In a self-deprecating fourth-wall break, Mater asks McQueen, "What's CGI?". McQueen unfavorably compares the medium to practical special effects.
- Props from previous Pixar films appear on the studio's prop shelves, including an eye-shaped magnifier from Incredibles 2 and a non-anthropomorphic Pizza Planet Truck.
