Trivia[]
- Several scenes from the shorts appear in the game as cutscenes. Strangely, a scene from Unidentified Flying Mater appears in the Mater the Greater level.
- The player's cars resemble Mia and Tia, The King, Chick Hicks, Duff Wrecks, Greta, and Ferrari F430.
- There are three shorts, Heavy Metal Mater, Moon Mater, and Mater Private Eye, which were released at the time, but they are not featured in the game.
- In the cutscenes of the game, only Guido is present, but Luigi is taken out. The same even happens later in the most recent Cars console game to date, Cars 3: Driven to Win.
