Trivia[]
- In the Car Finder Game, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the fictional Axxelo Fission model. While, in the Cars: Character Encyclopedia, he is listed as a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo after his real-life counterpart.
- Miguel Camino's name is a pun on the Chevrolet El Camino, the model that Andrew Vrooman is.
- According to Pixar Cars character and production designer, Jay Shuster, the Chevrolet Corvette C6-R model (Jeff Gorvette) was reused for Miguel as a base primarily for budget reasons and the fact he was a background character. He also borrowed inspiration from Nissan GT-R, and American muscle cars to give him a more original design instead of being a Corvette clone.[1][2]
