Chief Chick is Chick Hicks' crew chief in Cars. In Cars, Chief Chick is present at both Piston Cup races, supervising Chick's team.
Chief Chick is a 200 1/2 Ton Truck, a model that closely resembles a 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (GMT800) Regular Cab missing the horizontal grille bar. He is painted green, with yellow rims, and Chick Hicks' logo on his doors and hood. He has a 5.8L Supercharged V8 engine. He seems to be mean to Chick when he gets below first place. Not only just that, he may be as rude as Chick as he alongside the latter, laughed at McQueen when he wanted to be their racer before joining Rusteze.
History
Chief Chick makes his first appearance in the film at the Motor Speedway of the South, monitoring Chick's racing and giving him advice. He also supervises the other members of Chick Hicks' pit crew team, including Bruiser Bukowski and Wide Chick Pitty, to make sure they are on task.
He later appears at the tie-breaker race in Los Angeles, once again commanding Chick in hopes that he will win the race. After when Lightning McQueen spun out in the infield which Chick had actually caused, Chief Chick and Chick's pitties all laugh after seeing that Guido is the only tire changer that McQueen brought to the race; however, they are shocked when Guido pulls off one of the fastest pit stops in Piston Cup history.
