Duff Wrecks is a background character in Cars.
History[]
He appears in Cars, when Boost, DJ, Wingo, and Snot Rod are speeding down Interstate 40, before they stumble upon a sleepy Mack. As the four delinquents speed by him while weaving through traffic, Duff angrily honks his horn at them. It is unknown if he actually appeared again passing Lightning McQueen sleeping as a truck honks at him, or is a character with the same or a similar design.
General Information[]
Physical description[]
He is a 2000 Equalizer Mule pickup truck that is painted white, resembling a Ford Ranger of the same year (or even a 1999-2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab due to short bed), without the horizontal grille bar. He also has a color-matched white bumper, white rims and a black grille (although his diecast depicts him with a chrome grille), as well as a license plate that reads "26M3L". While his description confirms he is a diesel, he may be a V6 or V8, but this was never confirmed.
Personalities and traits[]
According to his Car Finder Game description, Duff is rather shy when a problem actually presents itself.

| "Duff has a lot of steam to blow off, especially considering he's a diesel. He spends most of his time working out, pulling rigs at the gym, and practicing tough guy comebacks to himself in the mirror, but when faced with actual conflict, he's as shy as a 4-cylinder." |

Trivia[]
- Dexter Hoover and some other trucks have a similar design but are not the same model. Duff Wrecks is an Equalizer Mule, while the former is a Pabloloco 4-Cylinder Compact Pickup.
- He is currently the closest we got to a stock version of Kitt Lift from Planes 2: Fire & Rescue, as they look somewhat similar in terms of body style. Though the front not really.
