Trivia[]

  • Pixar mistakenly put the number 26 on his artwork, (it is wrong as Jimmy Lugwrench bears the same number) even though in the movie it is seen to be 28.
    • Another point is that the racing tire used by Eli Turnpike is not exactly the same as that of Junior Moon. The racing tire used by Eli Turnpike is a red tire with a rim cover, while the one used by Junior Moon is black without a rim cover racing tires.
    • But for their diecast parts, Eli Turnpike uses Junior Moon’s black racing tires, with just an extra red rim; Junior Moon uses Eli Turnpike tires with rim caps, just with an extra white wall , the two of them appeared to be swapping tires on the Diecast piece.
    • Another point is that Eli Turnpike's diecast also incorrectly stated his racing number as No. 26. His actual racing number is No. 28.
