Emerson Fittipaldi is a 2017 Next-Gen Race Car SA-3. He is painted purple and red. He is powered by a 6.0 liter naturally-aspirated hybrid V12 with 725 horsepower. He can go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

- Emerson Fittipaldi is based off the real Emerson Fittipaldi, a Brazilian professional racing driver who won the Formula One World Championship and the Indianapolis 500 twice each and the Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART) championship once.
- Emerson Fittipaldi was selected by Disney Pixar as one of the three greatest icons of Brazilian motorsport to be honored with miniatures designed by Disney Pixar in the promotion of Cars 3. Each racers' miniature were customized with the colors of their respective helmets and they will be displayed next to their respective helmets.[1][2]
- Emerson Fittipaldi voiced Lewis Hamilton in Brazilian Portuguese version of Cars 2.
