In the 1950s, it is named Florida International Speedway. However, between 2015 and 2017, it was renovated and renamed Florida International Super Speedway. In Cars 3, the Florida 500 is held at the Florida International Super Speedway. Prior to the event, Jackson Storm sets the record for fastest lap of all time at the speedway. During the Florida 500, Storm leads the pack for most of the race, until Lightning McQueen decides to withdraw.
