Models[]
- 1961 Formula MB1 (Mama Bernoulli)
- 2005 Formula 6000 Racer (Rip Clutchgoneski)
- 2009 Formula FB1 Prototype Racer (Francesco Bernoulli, Checo Pérez)
Trivia[]
- The 2009 Formula FB1 Prototype, Francesco's model, is a Pixar in-house design which draws inspiration from various F1 cars of the late 2000's. Based on one concept art made by Jay Shuster, the 2009 Ferrari F60 F1 was seemingly used as his primary inspiration, even though one concept art made by John Lee suggests the original basis was supposed to be a 2008 Ferrari F2008.
- The 2005 Formula 6000 Racer, Rip's model, is a Pixar in-house blending elements of late 2000s IndyCars, (confirmed by Cars 2's character art director, Jay Shuster, in a fan Q&A), and the Hulme F1 Supercar.
- Several unnamed Formula cars with varying liveries appear in the DS Version of Cars 2: The Video Game.
- The racers who compete in the Formula Racer series are given a model name based on their initials and racing number: FB1 would be short for "Francesco Bernoulli No.1", and MB1 would be short for "Mama Bernoulli No.1". Checo's model may be referred to as a Formula CP11 instead of also being named as an FB1.
