Trivia[]
- "Haulital" is a shortening of the words "Haul it All", as almost all of its models are hauling vehicles.
- Haulital has a similar name to Houslital, another manufacturer which also produces tow trucks.
- Unlike all other Haulital models, the Lugnutter is not a hauling vehicle at all.
- Pabloloco also has a model named Lugnutter, which is also not a hauling vehicle, like its other models.
- The Haulital Lugnutter bears resemblance to the Park Motors Perk EX, and Remirunabout Orbit.
- The die-cast models of Chief RPM and Chief Leak Less erroneously portray them as a Haulital Lugnutter.
- According to his passport in Cars 2, Mater was born on January 12, 1957. This suggests that the Haulital Hook'em in general was manufactured in 1957.
- Although in addition, Mater's design was partly based on the 1955 Chevrolet Task Force 3800.
- In the unproduced short film, Backwards to the Forwards, Mater is said to of "rolled right out of the factory in 1955".
- The 1983 Hookov H9 (Ivan's model) appears to be a copy of the Haulital Hook'em. This implies that it may be a parody of the real-life Soviet truck manufacturers (ZIL-130/GAZ-53), which are known to copy American 1950s truck cabins, and for their incredibly long production (hence why the H9's model year is 1983 despite looking like a 1950s model).
- If you look closely or had not noticed, some four-door (crew cab) variants of Ray Reverham's model (Pickup) can be seen, whether sporting a bed cap (camper) or not. Currently, no officially named characters have used this model, unfortunately (as of now), nor diecast releases.
- The Pickup also has alternate front fascia designs; one has a narrow grille and long headlights, one has vice versa. This implies that the Pickup is treated like the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra or even 2015-2020 Ford F-150, and the Pickup with a wider grille and short headlights could be seen as a facelift. Though the 2015-2020 F-150 has these treatments in reverse; 2015-2017 has a narrow grille and short headlights, while 2018-2020 has a wide grille and long headlights.
- An unnamed Flying Tow Truck (with buck-teeth similar to Mater) from the future appeared in the unproduced short film, Backwards to the Forwards.
