Holstein Heifer is a fictional German motor company which makes tractors. In the Cars universe, the tractors are considered as cows.

The German name "Holstein" means "dwellers in the wood" or "hill-sitters".
- "Heifer" is the German word for a cow.
The Tractors are based on the real-life 1955 International Harvester Farmall 400.
In Car Finder Game, the Tractor models are listed as "Holstein Heifer Chewall Diesel Powered". However, in Meet the Cars, they are renamed as "Axel Chompers, 4-Cylinder, Diesel-Powered, Easily Frightened Transmission".
- Despite this, the Holstein Heifer Chewall logo is still present on their sides in all of their subsequent appearances.
The name "Chewall" is likely a parody of Farmall, a brand of tractors and agricultural equipment.
In Cars 3, there is a scene were Cruz Ramirez imagines several Next-Gen racers as tractors while completing in the Florida 500.
