Ichiban, Niban and Sanban are minor characters who appear in Tokyo Mater. They tuners and are residents of Tokyo.

Ichiban is painted entirely red with yellow tires, Niban is painted entirely yellow with pink tires, and Sanban is painted entirely green with blue tires. They are 2006 Microcaster Chickmonks modified with lowrider running boards.

History

In Tokyo Mater, Ichiban, Niban and Sanban countdown the race between Mater and Kabuto. They act similarly to the sequence of traffic lights.

• Ichiban, Niban and Sanban mean "first", "second" and "third" in Japanese respectively.
• According to the 2010 Collector Guide, Sanban was intended to be released as a 1:55 scale die-cast. Prototypes of all three were seen on display at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con. However, they were subsequently cancelled following the release of Cars 2 in 2011.
