Impala XIII is an American NASCA auto-naut.

History[]
In Moon Mater, Impala XIII takes part in a mission for NASCA, which as a result leaves him stranded on the moon as his rear wheel was stuck in a crater. Impala XIII states that he needs a tow, but has no available resources for said tow until Mater comes in and rescues him after his brief training at NASCA. Mater, Impala XIII, and Lightning McQueen all return to Earth in the Atlantic Ocean, with Mater and Impala XIII doing so safely. This leads into a celebration of the mission, Impala XIII's rescue and Mater.
Physical description[]
Impala XIII is a 1969 Chevrolet Impala. His license plate reads IMPXIII. He has white paint with the logo of NASCA and the Impala XIII mission on his doors. He is wearing a blue-white cap and an astronaut helmet on his cabin and life support system as a backpack on his trunk. He has chrome hubcaps and brown eyes. He has a blue Chevrolet emblem.

- Auto-naut Impala XIII's name is a reference to Chevrolet Impala and to NASA's Apollo 13 Moon mission that almost turned to disaster. Despite him being a 1969 Chevrolet Impala, and the mission being titled as such, the year of Impala XIII's mission is 1969 which is reference to year of Apollo 11 mission during which humanity had its first step on the Moon.
- In the Polish version, he is called Polonez XIII. It alludes to the FSO Polonez, a Polish car.
