Italy (officially the Italian Republic) is a peninsula country in Southwest Europe. Italy is famous for being the origin place pizza, spaghetti, and the car manufacturer, Ferrari. Italy is alluded to in the first film, but first appears in Cars 2.

Major characters, Luigi and Guido are from Italy. In Cars 2, the second race of the World Grand Prix is in Porto Corsa, Italy.
