Lightning's Pro-Race Shop, previously known as Lightning McQueen's Racing Headquarters, was a building in Radiator Springs, prior to the events of Cars 2. At first it served as McQueen's racing headquarters, but McQueen later made it into a shop where others can buy parts and tools.
History[]
In Cars, Lightning briefly tells Sally about setting up his racing headquarters in Radiator Springs.
In Cars: Mater-National Championship, construction on Lightning McQueen's Racing Headquarters has started, alongside the construction of Radiator Springs Speedway. While giving a report on television, Mater refers to the building as his and Lightning's new "clubhouse". After McQueen's competition with Giovanni, a group photo is taken outside the headquarters to remember the Mater-National Championship.
The building re-appears in Cars: Race-O-Rama, though it does not play a role in the story. In The World of Cars Online, the headquarters was re-purposed as a racing shop owned by McQueen, where players could purchase tires, intakes, motors, turbos and other parts and tools. It also helps younger racers launch their careers. Lightning stood outside the shop and he could help players with their racing career. In the right of the shop stood Lightning Storm Space Asault station allowing to access the minigame until it was moved next to the Flo's V8 Café.
In Cars 2, even though its supposed location is seen, the headquarters itself does not appear. The Radiator Springs Garage is that previously took its place, however, is still no longer present.
Appearance[]
The building is circular shape with two wings coming out diagonally from the back. It is mostly red, but the top is gray. A black and an orange stripe separate the two sections. A big Rust-eze logo appears on the front.
