The Lightyear logo.
- "Number 1 in performance for light years around!"
- —Slogan, Lightyear
Lightyear is a tire trademark in the World of Cars. The Piston Cup Racing Series has a partnership with Lightyear, and because of this, all of its competitors are required to use Lightyear tires. Many characters in the entire franchise use them.
Additionally, during races, Lightyear's blimp, Al Oft, can be seen flying over the stadiums, advertising for the company.

Trivia[]
- Lightyear is a parody of the real-life Goodyear company, which has a similar partnership with NASCAR.
- To promote Cars, Goodyear changed its blimp to also read "Lightyear" instead of the real-life former.
- The name "Lightyear" is also a reference to Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story franchise, another series created by Pixar.
- This can be further referenced by the fact that the tires have text visible on them which says, "Sector 4 Gamma Quad". This is a reference to where Buzz Lightyear is supposedly stationed in "Sector 4 of the Gamma Quadrant".
- The text on Big D's counterfeit "Lite Yeer" tires read "Tractor A - Temperature A", and the other text reads "Genuwine Kounterfit: Rode Tested Hi Performunce" a purposeful misspelling of "Genuine Counterfeit: Road Tested Hi Performance".
- According to the size written on the tire "P215/65R15" the tire's width is 215 millimeters, the tire's profile is 65, and the wheel diameter is 15 inches.
- The new Lightyear logo has a very similar resemblance to the 2022 Lightyear movie logo in terms of font.
