Whenever overheated cars came to Stanley's Oasis for a refreshing sip of Nature's Coolant, their radiator caps would be too hot for Stanley to remove. So he would direct them down into the nearby cave to cool off. By the time they drove inside, their red-hot radiators were so pressurized that their caps often blew off and filled the dark cave with steam. They left to find Stanley ready to sell them replacement caps, yet to this day, Lost Cap Cave still remains mysteriously full of steam.
