Mack Track Challenge is an event in Cars: Race-O-Rama.
Event Information[]
Players have to do four laps around Mack Track Challenge and do drifts along the way to earn points, and on the fourth lap, the gate will open, in which players have to use the ramp in Mack's trailer to jump and create a stunt. The trophy the player earns depends on how many points they score. Winning a trophy unlocks Academy Challenge 1. In Arcade Mode, Player 1 has to play as Lightning McQueen while Player 2 has to play as Mater.
Track[]
The track is a long oval. On one of the turns, the road will divide into two. Taking the left path leads the player to Mack's trailer, which has a ramp inside.
Trivia[]
- This minigame is based off of a playset that Mattel released in their 1:55 Scale Diecast line.
- This is the only minigame in Cars: Race-O-Rama to also be a gold event as well as the only single-level minigame not to be in Radiator Springs.
- Doc Hudson and Chick Hicks can be seen observing the race from the pit crew area near the starting line.
- The player cannot use any of Lightning's paint jobs, wheels, or kit parts if the minigame is started in Arcade Mode, as the game skips the character select screen and immediately begins the minigame upon selection. However, in Story Mode, Lightning will have his equipped customizations on if the minigame is selected, making it the only way to use a customized version of him in this mode.
- Lightning's Beach Racing, Street Racing, Off-Road Racing, and Speedway Wide Body versions are not usable in this mode. If the minigame is selected in Story Mode while using one of these versions, Lightning will be reverted back to his normal form with equipped customizations.
