Marilyn is a colorful sedan who first appears in Cars, leaving Ramone's House of Body Art during the film's epilogue with a fresh coat of paint. Her Car Finder Game bio identifies her as an ABL Princess, a fictional model in the Cars world. Her license plate reads "49643" and that it was registered in Kingpin, United States.[1]
History[]
Cars[]
Marilyn appears during the epilogue sequence in Cars. Once Lightning McQueen's discovery of Radiator Springs heightens popularity of the town, Marilyn is part of the overwhelming number of cars that visit.
World of Cars[]
Marilyn also has a cameo appearance in the World of Cars anthology book, in the story "And Now a Word from Our Sponsor". She is one of many testees who audition for Rusty and Dusty's Rust-eze commercial, but when it is her turn, she keeps getting nervous and forgetting her lines.
Official profiles[]
Car Finder Game[]
- "Marilyn has always been faithful to her stylist, though to be honest she hasn't been happy with her color for some time now. So when, during a road trip across the country, she and her family stopped off at Radiator Springs, on a moment of impulse, she stopped into Ramone's body shop, and now she's a stunning purple! Her family loves the new look and so does she, but her stylist back home isn't speaking to her."
