Max Sacar is a fan of the Japanese race car Shu Todoroki, who competes in the World Grand Prix alongside ten other international champions. In Cars 2, Max is sitting among thousands of other race fans, cheering on Shu in the racer's home country of Tokyo, Japan.
He is a 2009 Honda Civic (FN) hatchback (Which is a British-made model that was never sold in Japan, except the Type R model sold in Japan as the Type R EUR) with a license plate that reads "東京-122 み 02-28". He is painted red with a black underside, and black borders around his windshield and four windows. He has chrome rims and the Honda logo on his grille. When supporting Todoroki, Max is seen holding the Japanese flag.
