Patokaa, Tokyo Mater

Patokaa (パトカー) is a Japanese police officer who appears in Tokyo Mater, he is mainly based on a Toyota Mark II (1999-2002. X110 series), where the taillight portion resembles 2003-2009 Toyota Crown (S180 series). The Kanji on his paint job reads "警視庁" (けいしちょう, keishichō) which is Japanese for "Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department" and also his number plate reads "東京 321 さ 43-56". The kanji on his number plate says Tokyo in Japanese kanji. His name means police car in Japanese.

History[]

In Tokyo Mater, Patokaa appears finding Mater driving the wrong way on a one-way road during his race with Kabuto. He gives chase, but soon stops when they head into the House of Donuts, and joins the other police cars who are all performing donuts.

In Cars 2, a police car similar to Patokaa can be seen sleeping however he is woken up by Petey Pacer (He was just with lather from a fire extinguisher used by Finn McMissile), who crashes into him, and arrests by him afterwards.

  • The Cars 2 die-cast variant implies that Patokaa was the police car that Petey Pacer crashes into, as it share the same model with the Tokyo Mater die-cast. However, Potokaa has a slightly different design to the Cars 2 police car [1].
