Race Codes were a feature in The World of Cars Online.
Race Codes were available in certain Mattel Disney Pixar Cars packages from the "Race-O-Rama" series. The code could be found on the back of the vehicle's "ticket" label, and if the code was entered successfully, the player would receive a badge depicting the respective character or playset, 10 car-coins and a special bonus item.
The badges were collectibles and did not affect gameplay.
History[]
In late September 2008, when the "Race-O-Rama" series started, some die-cast packages had a worldofcars.com ticket to promote the new World of Cars Online game. In the back of the ticket, you could find a 16 digit code to enter in the website. From October 2008 to November 2009, during the Test Track, entering a Race Code could unlock Twistin' Tailfin Track and aforementioned rewards. Entering a certain amount of Race Codes unlocked different kind of rewards, including paint-jobs, tires, spoilers and more to customize your car, which could be purchased with car-coins. The total Race Codes was 154.
After the "Race-O-Rama" series ended, no more Race Codes were added.
Codes[]
For some time, all die-cast vehicles of the same character contained the same code, meaning users could share codes with one another without each having to buy the respective product. This was changed toward the end of the "Race-O-Rama" collection, where codes were made unique to each package.
This list only contains codes that worked for all players.

Trivia[]
- Although a prototype for the Mood Springs Pitty was featured in the 2009 1:55 Scale Die-Cast collector book as model #105, he was never released. A race code badge for him existed in the files of The World of Cars Online, however, due to his diecast being cancelled, it was unused. The same thing can be said for Cora Copper, as her diecast was first released in 2014, two years after the game was shut down.
- Some badges didn't have an image either because they were yet to be released or because they were locked as the player didn't unlocked them yet, and a Lightning McQueen silhouette was used as a placeholder.
- European packaging of the Race-O-Rama series didn't have any race codes, or any advertisement for The World of Cars Online.
