- "You don't want to upset my buddy, here."
- —Pulaski, Planes: Fire & Rescue
Rake is Pulaski's sidekick. He is painted yellow, with blue lines on his sides that have the initials of the Piston Peak Fire Department in white. He also wears a helmet that has the department's logo and a visor.
History[]
In Planes: Fire & Rescue, he is first seen with Pulaski when he informs Cad Spinner and the Secretary of the Interior that everything is under control at the Grand Fusel Lodge. The next day, he is getting a cup of coffee at the lodge, when he hears Cad arguing with Maru on the radio about making the tourists evacuate.
When the tourists begin to evacuate some time later after they notice a wildfire, Pulaski and Rake help the planes to take off. When one plane gets impatient with waiting for a biplane to start her engine, Pulaski informs him not to make cutsies, which Rake puts his visor on and makes whirring sounds at the plane to make him let the biplane go first.
Rake is soon seen with Pulaski, the Secretary and Ol' Jammer as they lead the other tourists to the park's exit, which then gets blocked by the fire, but the Air Attack team come to the scene and put the fire out.
A few days later, he arrives with Pulaski, Jammer and André at the Air Attack team's base to see that Dusty Crophopper is alive after he had an accident. Rake then travels to Propwash Junction to hear its airport being reopened by Ryker with Dusty being the town's second firefighter. He soon attends the town's Corn Festival to see Dusty and the Air Attack team take part.
