"They may not be new, but they're RE-VOLTING!"
Slogan, Re-Volting

Re-Volting Rebuilt Alternators, also written Revolting, is a trademark for rebuilt alternators and batteries, for when cars' alternators start to fail. Davey Apex, the Piston Cup racer, bare this sponsor, as well as Dave's reserve driver, Bashman. Between Cars and Cars 3, T.G. Castlenut replaces Dave after he retires and the number changes from 84 to 48. However, in Cars 3, during the mid season, T.G. Castlenut is fired, and replaced by a next-generation racer named Aaron Clocker.

Trivia[]

  • Re-Volting, Transberry Juice, Easy Idle, Octane Gain, Vitoline and Dinoco are the sponsors that return in Cars 3 with the numbers changed.
    • The Re-Volting racers have the number 48, swapping the places of the 4 and the 8, most likely because of the Apple racers having the number 84.
  • Re-Volting is the sponsor with the most racers shown, with five in total (Dave, Bashman, T.G., Aaron and Leroy Heming).
  • Strangely enough, in Cars, unlike any of the other Piston Cup haulers, the team hauler of Re-Volting is absent, while only its parking slot is seen (next to Haul Inngas'), and it in addition, oddly lacks its number. The same with Tach-O-Mint.
  • In the Rally Racers event of the Transcontinental Race of Champions, Max Schnell was sponsored by Re-Volting seen in The Official Magazine.
