Rubens Barrichello is a 2017 Next-Gen Race Car SA-3. He is painted red, white and navy. He is powered by a 3.0 liter Ferrari Tipo F163 hybrid V6 engine with 850 horsepower. He can go from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 mph (338 km/h).

- Rubens Barrichello is based off the real Rubens Barrichello, a Brazilian professional racing driver who races in the Formula One, IndyCar Series, and Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series.
- Rubens Barrichello was selected by Disney Pixar as one of the three greatest icons of Brazilian motorsport to be honored with miniatures designed by Disney Pixar in the promotion of Cars 3. Each racers' miniature were customized with the colors of their respective helmets and they will be displayed next to their respective helmets.[1][2]
- Rubens Barrichello voices Cal Weathers in the Brazillian version Of Cars 3.
- Rubens' model is similar to Ryan "Inside" Laney but with different headlights and no grille.
