Cars 2 and Salt Fever Mater Scream Comparison
- Todd, Broadside, and Bill are among the Salt Flats' background cars.
- Although the Salt Flats' racer Lou bears similarities to Fishtail, they are separate characters.
- Mater's screams when his suit begins collapsing are recycled from Cars 2, which in turn are recycled from Cars when Mater is driving backwards.
- Mater opens his own door to re-enter his body. This marks the first time in the franchise a car's doors have opened.
