"Great win today, Cal."
Shannon Spokes, Cars 3

Shannon Spokes is an on-the-track reporter in the Piston Cup Racing Series. She drives up alongside racers and interviews them in the middle of the action. Her number plate is RSNSPKS (Racing Sports Network Spokes)

History[]

In Cars 3, Spokes interviews Piston Cup Racers. In the 2016 season of the Piston Cup Racing Series, when Lightning McQueen wins the first race at the Motor Speedway of the South, she interviews him why he gets focused to race against Bobby Swift and Cal Weathers and watches that Cal and his team with Bobby make a joke and called him cupcake. Later she interviewed Cal for win against McQueen at the Rocker Arms International, but Lightning with Bobby and Guido inflate Cal's tires with McQueen's balloons as revenge. Near the end of the season, during Los Angeles 500 race at Los Angeles International Speedway, she says there are 40 laps left and Jackson Storm goes to the pit lane while McQueen goes behind him and sees a difference between victory and defeat.

She speaks at the Florida International Speedway, where she tells that Jackson Storm clocked 214 miles per hour in 2017.
