Shifty Drug is a drug company. The owner is the father in-law of the Piston Cup racer Kevin Racingtire, bearer of the Shifty Drug sponsor, and Shifty Drug hauler which carries Kevin. The sponsor doesn't return in Cars 3, however, it does return in the 2021 Disney Pixar Cars die-cast line in the NASCAR series sponsoring new racer William Byrev. Judging by its name, the company most likely produces pharmaceutical drugs.

- Aside from Dale Earnhardt Inc., this is the only company from the movie that is absent in both Cars: The Videogame and Cars 3.
- After Kevin Racingtire retires, his father in-law may sell the company to other wealthy businessmen or continue to be the owners of the company and hire William Byrev.
- In the 15th December 2005 workprint of Cars, Shifty Drug was used as a stand in for Dale Earnhardt Inc., this was done in case the filmmakers could not get Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the project and secure licensing for him and his company.[1]
- Shifty Drug, Hostile Takeover Bank, Dale Earnhardt Inc., Fiber Fuel, Sidewall Shine, Retread, Tach-O-Mint are the only sponsors absent from Cars 3.
- But Hostile Takeover Bank, Shifty Drug, Fiber Fuel, Sidewall Shine, Retread later After hired NASCAR Next-Gen Racers of 1: 55 Diecast, them never appeared in animated movies.
- Although Hostile Takeover Bank racer Chick Hicks himself appeared in Cars 3, after he retired and became a commentator for RSN, he used his name and RSN replaced all the company's logos on his body.
- Dale Earnhardt Inc. may have real-life copyright issues with the company or he may be the successor owner of the company, which may no longer be active in racing world after Dale Earnhardt Jr. retires.
