Suregrip is the reserve Clutch Aid race car. He raced for the 2006 Piston Cup. He drove in place of Kevin Shiftright. He bears the number #123 (#121 in the Xbox 360 version of the game).
History[]
Suregrip made his debut on the Piston Cup scene during the 2006 season, where he substituted for Kevin Shiftright while he was away. In the five races, Suregrip placed in the top five while racing at Palm Mile Speedway, Motor Speedway of the South and the Los Angeles International Speedway. His racing strategy appears to be to cling to the wall, out of the other racers' way. In the other two races, he performs relatively lower, finishing about 11th or 12th.
Livery[]
Suregrip is painted nearly identical to Kevin Shiftright, blue, with white striping on his body. He has the number 123 on his doors and roof, and the Clutch Aid logo on his doors.
Model[]
Suregrip's make and model is currently unknown, although he does appear to resemble either a 2006 Dodge Charger NASCAR or a Ford Taurus NASCAR. He has a top speed of 200 mph.
Occupation[]
Suregrip was the reserve race car on the Clutch Aid racing team.

Trivia[]
- During the Motor Speedway of the South event in Cars: The Videogame, there is another identical version of Suregrip, although he is significantly slower. The same thing happens with Hollister and Lee Jr., as well as Clarkson in Smasherville International Speedway. However, none of this happens in the Wii version of the game, and no duplicate racers appear, and the cars who were absent appear normally.
- In the Wii version of the game, the font of Suregrip's #123 is the same as the #121 on Kevin Shiftright and Masterson.
