The Die-Cast Series is a series of online videos uploaded onto Pixar's official Cars YouTube channel. They are based on the Cars Daredevil Garage app. The series started on July 16, 2016.
Synopsis[]
Each video shows animated versions of 1:55 scale die-casts racing through a specific room in a house or someplace in a backyard. Throughout the race, the cars would end up in a sticky situation, such as falling into a trap or getting stuck. However, one or two of them are able to avoid them and win the race.
Not all episodes focus on a race, though. Some episodes focus on the cars playing a different sport, such as soccer or billiard. Sometimes, the cars are just going for a drive.
